Leahy’s Open Farm Birthday Parties in East Cork

Leahy’s Open Farm is becoming the number-one location for kids’ birthday parties in Cork. Children can enjoy the freedom of our open farm with one of our guided tours.

We have a large seating area which can accommodate small to medium size parties. Your child will sit head in our king-size chair.

We offer several packages for all occasions, and we are more than happy to tailor make your child’s birthday to your needs.

Your child’s birthday party is a very special occasion, and at Leahys Open Farm, we will make it a very memorable one!

Party bookings are now being taken. 
Your party includes entry to the farm, petting times with the animals, holding the snake, petting the  rabbits and exploring the maze, climbing frames and go-karts. These are only some of the activities for a fun day out. See birthday party rates below.

Chocolate Party

Everything in option 2, but each child gets to decorate their choice of chocolate mould, make and decorate their own chocolate lollipop, package it and take it home.

Please note the party parents pay for all extra adults attending the party unless the parent has organised with us before hand that the extra adults are paying for themselves.

Birthday Cake

Ice cream cake made with homemade ice cream created here on the farm. €40 for 10 kids. €50 for 15 kids

Vanilla cake decorated with chocolate buttons, smarties and chocolate sticks.

Birthday party information for open farm members.

Members booking a birthday party at Leahy’s will benefit from special member’s reduced rates. Member’s parties will need 8 full paying children to avail of party packages.

    Entry only €14.50 per child

    This includes your own guide for 3 hours, petting time with animals, ride on quad and barrel train, use of the indoor play barn, reserved table and seating while having your cake. There are 2 adults free with the party and all other adults are charged at €8.00 each. Under 2’s have free entry. To avail of this party rate you need a minimum of 8 paying children

    Entry and food per child €18.50

    This includes your own guide for 3 hours, petting time with animals, ride on quad and barrel train, use of the indoor play barn, reserved table and seating while having your party food. There are 2 adults free with the party and all other adults are charged €8.00 each. Under 2’s have free entry. Food options available for kids are, Chips and sausages/nuggets/burgers with a drink or pasta with sauce and cheese with a drink. To avail of this party rate you need a minimum of 8 paying children.

    Entry, food and digger rides for all kids €20.50

    This includes your own guide for 3 hours, petting time with animals, ride on quad and barrel train, use of the indoor play barn, digger rides for all the kids, reserved table and seating while having your party food.     This includes your own guide for 3 hours, petting time with animals, ride on quad and barrel train, use of the indoor play barn, digger rides for all the kids, crazy golf play for all the kids in the party, party bags filled with little treats for all kids in the party, reserved table and seating while having your party food. There are 2 adults free with the party and all other adults are charged €8.00 each. Under 2’s have free entry. Food options available for kids are, Chips and sausages/nuggets/burger with a drink or pasta with sauce and cheese with a drink. To avail of this party rate you need a minimum of 8 paying children

    Chocolate Making Party €28 per child

    We will start off the party by showing you a demo on how we do our chocolates here at the farm. We will then do a little history on chocolate and its origins. We will then set you up to make your very own lollipops and figurines, while we wait for the moulds to set, we will go out on the farm for a little adventure, we will then return to continue the chocolate party, you will be shown how to decorate and package your own chocolates. We supply lunch for the party. The party must have a minimum of 8 paying kids and all kids can bring home what they make. The party takes 3 hours.
