For the Best School tour experience

We are based in Dungourney, near Midleton in East Cork. We have been providing School Tour trips around our farm for the last 20 years. Our farm is educational adventurous and seriously fun for school groups.

We provide fully guided tours and we offer the children hands on work with feeding the animals as well as interesting little stories about old machines and contraptions around the museums.

We have indoor and outdoor play areas, Climbing Frame, Adventure Trail and a Crazy Golf course, we also have a large maze, pedal go-karts, a huge selection of animals and lots more, we also have a large coffee shop which can provide a hot lunch for groups. Each group will also have their own designated sitting area which they can also use to eat their hot food or packed lunch if brought with them. 
We have a gift shop, and children can glance around if required by the school.
Experience a 100 year old dwelling house on a working farm and see the farm machinery operated at this time.

Historical and Educational Aspects

• See the tradesmen tools, blacksmiths forge, carpenters workshop etc
• Horse drawn machinery and the first means of public transport used in Ireland
• See the Old Irish Crannog.

Involvement and Enjoyment

• Touch and maybe even hold the snake.
• Rub our rabbits and guinea pigs during petting time
• Hold the mouse or if your brave enough let him run around on your head. 
• Our large maze is a real challenge to all the kids and teachers can try to find their way around too.
• Take a trip through the forest on our quad and barrel train ride while holding on over the bumps. 

The prices per child are €11.95 and one adult with every ten children would be free, we offer complimentary tea and scones to all teachers in the group and your bus driver is also looked after in the same way.
For Pre Schools the prices are the same but there is one adult in every five children free.
The food prices are €6.00 per child (optional).
