DIGGER PARK
This is one of the first opportunities that kids can actually work a real JCB or Kubota mini digger.
Yes lots of little boys and girls have diggers and tractors at home, but these are REAL JCB AND KUBOTA Diggers. There are 5 diggers for you to try your hand at. Both adults and children can ride them. Kids under a certain height (Bob the Builder) restriction will have to be accompanied. Try and catch the ducks, knock all the bowling pins or simply dig up stones and water.
We have a massive sandpit with play sand diggers adjacent to the diggers.
PETTING TIME
We run scheduled petting times throughout the day, giving visitors a chance to get up close with some of our favourite animals. During these sessions, guests can hold a gentle snake or a mouse, enjoy petting the rabbits and guinea pigs, and even feed the goats.
Barrel Train
Our quad and barrel train ride takes you on an adventure through the forest. Hold on going over the bumps, look left and right for different animals and creatures and shout as loud as you can going through the tunnel.
Known as the highlight of the farm, this is seriously fun for mums and dads too.
Each family gets a complimentary ticket for one barrel train ride on entry to the farm.
DUN’S MYSTERY MAZE
The size of the maze is just under one acre.
It is planted in box hedging and is about 4ft height so no fear, if the kiddies get too far ahead, you will be able to see them. There is also a viewing stand, so if you are completely lost, you can get help from the viewing area because from there you can see all the paths through the maze very clearly. It’s a real puzzler for the young and old.
However “the kids usually find their way easier then the adults!!!
FAIRY TRAIL
While in our Forest Adventure Park make sure to continue on into our beautiful Fairy Trail loop. Explore this beautifully decorated, colourful , magical path filled with fairy houses, whimsical decorations and enchanting surprises. Fairies are an important part of Irish Folklore and on Leahy’s farm our Fairy Trail will excite young and old.
GO-KARTING
Does anyone feel the need for speed?
Why not try out our pedal go karts, race your friends around the track for as long as you like. The track is surrounded by tyres and it has a gravel surface so drive with caution as the surface is skiddy!!
We have many go-karts both double and single to enjoy.
Suitable for over 6 year olds.
DEN BUILDING
Come to the forest and be very creative building your own den. This den will be made from all natural materials found around the forest.
This activity allows children to engage in hands-on creative and fun experiences by constructing their own den. It is an excellent way for kids to connect with nature, work together as a team, and use their imagination.
FIRE ENGINE
Come and explore our old fashioned fire engine. Providing lots of entertainment, engage in the excitement of role play by driving the big fire engine and putting out fires.
FARM MUESUMS
An array of old machines and horse drawn carriages and carts as well as a blacksmiths forge.
