Our Easter event Hop Along will run from Thurs 17th to Mon 21st April 2025 . It includes entry to the farm, Easter Egg Hunt and trailer ride through the forest it’s a fun event for young and old. Over the 5 days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) the Easter Bunny drops eggs continuously throughout the forest, so no matter what time you start your hunt there will be eggs everywhere…… On arrival every child will get a questionnaire and a map of the farm. Everybody who completes the questionnaire will be entered into a draw for a FREE return trip to Leahy’s Open Farm. There will also be Egg & Spoon races for Mammy and Daddy. This year we are holding a Welly Throwing competition. The challenge is to throw a welly as far as they can. The furthest distance will win a prize. Each welly needs to be paid for by way of donation, which all proceeds will be given to our chosen charity. To play all participants must be over 12 years old. We will have welly throwing competitions for the kids under 12 years old.
