A male sheep is called a ram. A female sheep is called a ewe.
A baby sheep is called a lamb. Every summer sheep have their fleece shorn. The wool is used for making clothing.
Here at the farm in May 2024, we got our two new lambs and we named them Ben and Holly. At the beginning we were feeding Ben and Holly four warm bottles of milk a day with the help of our little visitors to the farm. Now that they are getting older they are indulging in grass, hay and pellets daily.
